At the Commission meeting on September 6, the Nominating Committee recommended the following slate of officers for 2006:

This fact sheet describes progress on a staff project examining data from the Commission's recent eligibility study to determine whether regional variations in eligibility are the result of regional differences in income and school performance, or whether they are driven by genuine cultural or regional differences. High School Academic Performance Index (API) as a Predictor of University Eligibility

This report examines the strength of a school's Academic Performance Index (API) as a predictor of a student's eligibility for UC or CSU by using a statistical model. The report also describes the correlation between increases in API and eligibility rates of various ethnic groups. Presenter: Jessika Nobles.
