Developments with the Commission's Longitudinal Student Data System

Staff will provide an update on progress in resolving data integrity issues with the longitudinal data that have been provided by the three public segments under AB 1570. Commissioners will also discuss possible uses of the data in developing recommendations for higher education policy.

The Improving Teacher Quality Program -- An Update

It is the latest initiative in the federally-funded Improving Teacher Quality State Grants program for teacher professional development. This report reviews a proposal by the Palo Verde Community College District to convert its Needles off-campus outreach center to a state-approved educational center. The district is requesting review and consideration under the Commission's current facility guidelines and under guidelines pursuant to Supplemental Language of the 1984-85 Budget Act.
