Frank QuiambaoThere are few decisions you ever make that have as much impact on your future as the decision about whether or not to attend college.

Research indicates that, in addition to dramatically increasing the income you earn during your lifetime, your choice to invest your time and energy in a college education has an impact on where you live, what you do for a living, who you marry, how many children you have, who your children marry and even how long you live and how healthy you will be during that lifetime.

And then there's the most important reason to continue your education: the fact that education makes you better equipped to deal with a world that is constantly changing, a planet that demands that its occupants do more than just take up space. A college education equips you with a wide range of intellectual resources. As one person put it, it makes your mind a pleasant place in which to spend your leisure.

That's quite a payoff for just $11 per unit! And that's exactly what beautiful West Los Angeles College offers you.

At fully-accredited West Los Angeles College, we have hundreds of classes to fit your busy schedule, offering the first two years toward a Baccalaureate degree or vocational courses to help you enter or progress in your chosen career.

Everyone 18 or older may enroll, with or without a high school diploma. Classes are offered days, evenings and weekends, and we have short-term courses that start every nine weeks, all year long.

There's plenty of parking, free tutoring, child care, job placement, counseling, financial aid, our great Physical Fitness Center, clubs and athletics. Best of all, our outstanding faculty provide top quality instruction in their fields.

We're also proud of the Scholars program for high achievers; PACE and The Weekend College, which are accelerated A.A. degree and transfer programs; Jump Start for those in high school and adult schools; Westside Extension, with non-credit, personal development classes; our new Fine Arts Complex, offering computer graphics, digital imaging and desktop publishing classes, in addition to galleries, theater and recital halls; the Aviation Technology Complex, and the Physical Education Complex, to name just a few of the great things you'll discover once you come to campus.

I invite you to join the thousands upon thousands who have found what they're looking for at West Los Angeles College, where we have what you need to succeed!
