consistent with NCES data. Institutions may update or change their own information beyond our control.
Some institutions have multiple campuses.

The crime statistics are reported to the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) as required by
federal law (
http://www.securityoncampus.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=271&Itemid=81
).
The Jeanne Clery Act requires
All colleges and universities that receive financial aid (Title IV) are required to disclose campus crime
information on or near their campuses. Institutions are required to keep data for the most recent three years
and indicate if the incident was a "hate crime".
The Commission receives data from the NCES annually and posts the data once a year. Visit our
Caveats page for
known discrepancies or problems.
