Report 03-3: Reviewing the Community Learning Center: An Educational Center of the MiraCosta Community College District

February 2003View Full PublicationThis report reviews the proposal by the MiraCosta Community College District to receive official recognition as an educational center for its Community Education Center, an existing facility located in the City of Oceanside. This new educational center, which was built entirely with district funds, will provide learning opportunities for the rapidly growing population of the area, particularly those in disadvantaged areas with needs for instruction in English as a Second Language, and basic skills education. The Commission approved this report at its meeting on February 4, 2003.
