September 2005View Full PublicationThe Postsecondary Education Commission, the California State University, and the University of California conducted a study to estimate the proportion of public high school graduates who meet the admission requirements for the two university systems. The study found that 34.1% of the high school graduating class of 2001 were eligible for admission to the California State University and 14.2% were eligible for the University of California.
