Report 06-11: The Road Ahead: Enhancing the Evaluation of University Academic Preparation Programs
Published by The California Postsecondary Education CommissionJune 2006View Full Publication
This report presents an analysis of the University’s evaluation of its Academic Preparation and Educational Partnership Programs. Three recommendations are made for strengthening the evaluation processes in the future. The Commission concludes that the information reported offers reasonable evidence of program effectiveness, and therefore recommends that funding for these programs be restored in the 2006-07 State budget. The Commission also recommends that legislative funding decisions in subsequent years be informed by the extent to which the University continues to work cooperatively with the Commission in strengthening the evaluation process, as discussed in this report.
