September 2008View Full PublicationThis report is a Commission staff recommendation for approval of a proposal by the Palomar Community College District to establish a new educational center in the northern region of the district. In addition to the proposal meeting all seven of the Commission’s criteria for approval, the Palomar District detailed a long range plan for addressing the region’s population growth, and district voters passed a sizable bond measure to cover capital costs for the project.
