September 2008View Full PublicationThis report contains a staff analysis of a proposal to establish an allopathic medical school at the University of California, Riverside. Staff found that the proposal fully met the Commission’s program review criteria for concurrence of a new professional school. Given the state’s present economic and fiscal challenges, it was recommended that UC Riverside consider opening the medical school at a later date when the State’s economic outlook is more favorable.
