California’s higher education systems offer a variety of degree programs in nursing education. This report outlines a statewide planning method to assess the specific nursing supply issues being addressed by each higher education system, the adequacy of the current mix of nursing programs, and how programs should be expanded across higher education systems to meet labor market needs.
