Ready or Not Here They Come contains public undergraduate enrollment demand projections for the period 2009 to 2019 and an analysis of lecture and laboratory classroom capacity to accommodate enrollment growth. The Commission forecasts that California public colleges and universities will be asked to serve nearly 400,000 more undergraduate students in 2019 than they served in 2008. Also discussed is the level of state investment required to fund growth and the loss in college opportunity that would result if enrollments are not fully funded.
