Published by The California Postsecondary Education CommissionOctober 1994View Full Publication
This report contains statistical information on the financing of California's public higher education institutions since 1965-66 along with some data on public elementary and secondary education in California. It is the fourth report in the series, and it follows essentially the same format as the Commission's July 1993 publication, Fiscal Profiles, 1993. It differs from that report in that it contains two new displays -- 4 and 5 -- that show the "Total State Spending Plan" for the State of California, plus expanded information in other displays on appropriations for instructionally related activities by major fund source per funded full-time-equivalent student in California's three public sectors of higher education Following an introduction that explains the origins, scope, highlights, and organization of the report, the document is divided into 15 sections. The Fiscal Policy and Analysis Committee of the Commission discussed this report at its meeting on October 24, 1994.
