Net Migration of Students

Description

Net migration of all freshmen students in 4-year, degree-granting institutions who graduated from high school in the previous 12 months, Fall 2006.

The numbers are calculated by taking the total number of freshmen enrolled in a 4-year, degree-granting college or university in a particular state and subtracting the number of freshmen from that state attending any 4-year, degree-granting college or university in the United States. A negative number indicates that there are more students leaving the state than entering.
