Item 1:
Legislative Update
Commission staff will update the Committee on recent legislative developments. Staff will discuss and recommend positions on bills pending in the State Legislature that are being tracked during the 2007-08 legislative session. Since the June 5-6 Commission meeting, both the Assembly and the Senate have been holding hearings that have resulted in a number of amendments to legislation. Staff will summarize these changes and update their recommendations.
